Mike Gribble, a local author, will be at Y Knots Sports Bar today from 5 to 8 p.m. signing his new novel, “Climbing Fool's Hill.” Gribble has used his knowledge of the Appalachian dialect to turn this into a witty, entertaining story of what it was like to grown up in the Smoky Mountains during the early 1960's. You will be laughing and crying at the youthful, funny, and sometimes tragic experiences of teenage boys trying to cope with their adolescent years.
