Teens, here's your chance!

I feel the need to post this blog, because I don't think enough teens and parents know about The Youth Council serving Fayette County (formerly the PTC Youth Council). This would also be a place where teens and adults can post concerns and issues about teens in Fayette County.
The Youth Councils primary goal is to offer events for teens. Such as concerts and events. Some of the past events include: Summer Jam, Winter Jam, Rocktoberfest, Community Service Projects, Dodge Ball Tournaments, and we plan to have a High School Flag Football League this winter.
The Youth Council is having a meeting on Thursday November 10th at 7pm to recruit new members and to discuss future events and programs. If you are a parent of a High School student, please encourage them to attend our next meeting. Youth Council meetings are open to the public. Any High School Student that resides in Fayette County (Home School Included) can join The Youth Council. We currently have members from McIntosh, Starr's Mill, Our Lady of Mercy and Fayette County and hope to also have representation from Whitewater, and Sandy Creek.
