Nobody better than momWed, 05/10/2006 - 11:56am

Submitted by Anokhee Jandhyala My mom is the best person in the whole world. I am 10 years old and I have a little brother who is 8 years old. We both love our mom very much, actually the most of all. Even my Dad loves her most of all. All three of us believe that she is the kindest, sweetest and the most beautiful person ever, and we know that there is nobody better than her. My mom spends all her time looking after us. She never goes out anywhere without us. She does not work because she thinks she will not be able to take care of us nicely if she goes to work, and we too do not want her too. But she works all the time at home. She wakes all of us up in the morning, brings us breakfast, showers us, and dresses us up for school. She packs our bags, packs us a snack for school, and does my hair nicely. She takes us to the bus stop and gives us kisses and hugs and whispers, “I love you” many times and waves at us till we don’t see her anymore. She sends our Dad to work the same way she does with us. When we come back from school I feel so happy to see her standing at the bus stop again, dressed nicely, and hugs us as soon as get off the bus. I feel happy to see my room nice and clean and she always gives me something nice to eat. She always tries to buy me anything I ask her, or my brother asks her. She always hugs me and my brother tightly whenever there is a thunderstorm because we do not like them. She never shouts at us and is very patient and gentle. My mom is very funny too. She acts silly sometimes and makes us laugh. She likes to sing and dance. She is very intelligent too and helps me with my homework. She loves to listen to me when I tell her about American History, which I learn in school. My mom is the best person for me, my brother and my Dad. We love you Mom. “A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.” — Tenneva Jordan: Motherhood Quotes. login to post comments |
