Henry graduates from Air Traffic Control Operations Apprentice Course

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Christopher B. Henry has graduated from the Air Traffic Control Operations Apprentice Course at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss. The course is designed to train students to control enroute and terminal air traffic by use of visual, radar, and non-radar means at air traffic control facilities. Students learn aircraft identification and to initiate and issue air traffic control clearances, instructions and advisories to ensure the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic operating under instrument and visual flight rule. Henry is the son of Kip M. and Cindy L. Henry of Brooks, Ga. and a 2005 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, Fayetteville, Ga.
