Gary Wayne Robertson, 54, Fayetteville, died April 26, 2006. He was born in Coweta County and was graduated from Newnan High School in 1970. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lunelle Robertson. He attended the University of Georgia and took a degree from West Georgia College in 1974. He worked for a number of banks, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Southern Community Bank, Fayetteville. He enjoyed serving as an announcer for the East Coweta High School and East Mecklenburg High School football teams. Services were at the Turin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Scott Brown and the Rev. Griff Jones officiating. Interment was at Turin Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Carol Christopher Robertson; children, Stacy and Andy Cooke, Chris Robertson, and Matt Robertson; father, Leroy and Sandra Robertson; a brother, Larry and Janet Robertson; and nieces, Natalie and Melanie.
