North Fayette United Methodist Church will have a Spring Fling Festival this Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the church on New Hope Road in Fayetteville. Special events include a plant sale (hanging baskets and container plants), bake sale, used book sale, barbecue dinner and storytelling. A barbecue dinner will be sold for $7 per plate from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. A different professional storyteller will be showcased each hour with a variety of folk tales and family-oriented stories related. The church is at 847 New Hope Rd.
