Mr. and Mrs. Philip E. Sakowitz, Jr. of Alexandria, Va., formerly of Peachtree City, announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Leigh Laurette of Atlanta, to William Matthew Cooper, also of Atlanta, son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Cooper Jr. of Marietta.

The bride-elect is a graduate of McIntosh High School in Peachtree City and Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., where she received a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies. She is employed by Arby’s Restaurant Group in Norcross as a human resources supervisor.

The future groom is a graduate of North Cobb High School in Kennesaw and Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is employed by The Home Depot in Atlanta as a manager, merchandising finance.

A June 10 wedding is planned at Sandy Springs Christian Church in Sandy Springs.
