The Bulldog Clubs in Coweta County and Fayette County have been selected to host one of the 2006 "Dawg Days" events sponsored by the UGA Athletic Association and the local Bulldog Clubs. The "Dawg Days" events will feature UGA coaches including Head Football Coach Mark Richt, 2005 SEC Coach of the Year, and UGA Athletics Director Damon Evans. The program will also include special guest Emcee Neil Williamson of WSB Radio and the Georgia Tailgate Show. The UGA Bookstore will bring merchandise and souvenirs to the event.

The “Dawg Days” event will take place Monday, May 15 at the Coweta County Fairgrounds and Conference Center in Newnan. The event kicks off with a tailgate barbecue from Sprayberry’s in Newnan at 6 p.m. The program will start at 7 p.m. Admission is $25 for adults and $15 ofr children ages 12 and under.
