Patrick Malloy Communities win Pacesetter Award

Patrick Malloy Communities received the distinguished Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Pacesetter Award for its performance in 2005. The award recognizes the 50 fastest growing privately held companies in metro Atlanta. Atlanta-based Patrick Malloy Communities closed out 2005 as one of the area’s largest home builders, setting a company record for the second consecutive year.

Since the company’s inception in 1994, Patrick Malloy Communities has developed 22 neighborhoods across six Atlanta-area counties. In 2005, Malloy closed on more than 300 single-family homes and townhouses with an average selling price of $191,500 and had total revenue for the year of $60.5 million. Those figures represent a 34 percent growth in closings and a 36 percent increase in revenue over 2004. In addition, the company increased from 42 employees in 2003 to 62 employees in 2005.
