Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty agents Stacey Dunlap, Marian Hynson, Kimberly Aaron, and Linda Scott from the company’s Newnan office recently participated in the 5 K run/walk, Race for Riley.
The event is named for three-year old Riley Peek, who has a mitrochondrial disorder. The race, in its second year, was created to raise funding to promote research and education for the diagnosis, treatment and cure of mitrochondrial disorders. There is currently no cure for such disorders, and patients have uncertain futures. The race was held Saturday, April 29, on a course at the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home in Palmetto. Prizes, awards and ribbons were presented to winners and all participants received an original “Race for Riley” T-shirt.
