Homesite reservations are now being accepted for the first phase of Williamsburg, a new single family residential community inside the city limits of Fairburn.

Located on Charleston Avenue at the end of Sir Charles Drive, which runs off Campbellton Street just south of its intersection with Highway 92/138, the community will have Turn-of the-Century-style homes priced from the low to mid $200,000s. The initial phase will have 20 homes.

John Proffitt III, who is involved in the development, homebuilding and marketing of the community, said that every effort will be made to preserve the natural woodlands of the site.
”We’re going to keep as many trees as possible, and we plan to leave more than 40 percent of the property as green space,” he said. The development has two creeks running through it, and plans call for a nature trail and children’s play park.

According to Proffitt, the homes in Williamsburg will be similar to those in Honesuckle Ridge in Peachtree City and Apple Orchard in Fayetteville.

The homes will have exteriors of Hardiplank with masonry accents. “We are trying to be historically accurate with the use of earth tones and natural colors,” added Proffitt. All homes will have rear loaded garages, and the community will have sidewalks and gas-style lamps for streetlights.

Woodcliff Holdings is the developer of Williamsburg, and the homebuilding company will be StoneBridge HomeBuilders, said Andrew Arnold, president.
