On May 6, 1986, the Wise family opened the doors to what has become a gathering place for loyal patrons, customers and most of all friends: Catfish Hollow. The restaurant began in a converted grocery store located in Tyrone. Over the next few years it became a success as a well-known establishment that was enjoyed by all. Eleven years ago in January, Catfish Hollow moved its operation from Tyrone to Thomas Crossroads in Newnan. Although there was very little at Thomas Crossroads, the move was an immediate success. Built on the essentials of quality, cleanliness and value, the business began to expand and evolve into the restaurant that customers know today. It is not only a catfish restaurant but also a full service steak and seafood restaurant specializing in all types of fish and seafood. New menu items were created at Thomas Crossroads and are still being created today, including grilled fish, handcut steaks, broiled seafood, fresh oysters and scallops, soups and fresh vegetables inspired by Goldens’ on the Square, which the Wise family has operated since 1996. Everyone at Catfish Hollow wishes to thank all of the customers for 20 great years. They will mark the occasion by rolling back one serving of catfish on the bone or in strips to $7.95 dine-in only this Saturday. Phone 770-502-1223 for more information. login to post comments |
