Moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, it's time to saddle up your precious babies and snap a photo to enter in the first annual American Cancer Society's Diapers and Denim Barons' Ball Pretty Baby Calendar Contest. The name might be a mouthful, but the winning baby needs to be nothing more than adorable and available to represent one of the 12 months on the 2007 Barons' Ball Diapers and Denim Calendar. The winning baby's photo will also be featured on the cover of the calendar. The Barons' Ball is an annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. All proceeds from the photo contest, sale of the calendar, and calendar advertising will be used by the American Cancer Society - Fayette County for local programs that are made available to our community free of charge as well as funding research and development.

Twelve winners will be chosen, each to be featured on a month of the American Cancer Society “Diapers and Denim” Barons’ Ball Calendar. The twelve monthly winners will each receive a photo session with Memory Cottage Portrait Studio, a free 11" x 14" portrait from the photo shoot, a denim outfit from Carters, and a prize basket from local merchants. One baby, from the 12 winners, will be chosen as the “Diapers and Denim” Cover Baby. The Cover Baby, in addition to the other prizes, will receive a $600 prize package courtesy of Serendipity Baby and Co. of Fayetteville.

Babies born after January 1, 2004 are eligible to enter. Babies must be available for a photo session at Memory Cottage Portrait Studio between May 15-30. Barons' Ball Calendar entry forms are available from Serendipity Baby and Co., the American Cancer Society office in Fayetteville, or Memory Cottage Photo Studio. Entries may also be made by mailing a 4" x 6" photo (or larger), labeled with the baby's name, parent's name, address, phone number, email address, and baby's birth date. Entries should be mailed to: Denim and Diapers Contest, c/o The American Cancer Society, 135 Bradford Square, Fayetteville, Ga. 30215. Entries must be received by May 15. Winners will be notified by telephone. Each entry must also include a check for $20, payable to the American Cancer Society.
