Tolva Norene Stanfield, 83, Peachtree City, died April 25, 2006. She was born Aug. 13, 1922 in Talladega, Ala., daughter of Charles Millard and Leona Dempsey Linn. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Willis Linn, in 2001. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and was a current member of the Peachtree congregation. She was a real estate investor, an excellent cook and enjoyed working and volunteering in hospitals. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with Minister Aubrey Johnson and Minister Ted Kuzma officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include her husband, John Stanfield; a son, Joe and Melody White; five grandchildren; stepsons, Alan White, and Dana White, both of Lilburn; a sister-in-law, Tancy Linn, Orlando, Fla.; nephews, Mike Linn and Keith Linn, Orlando, Fla., and Rick Linn, Richmond, Texas. Dora Christian Home and Bible School, 301 West 13th Ave., Mt. Dora, Fla., 32757. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
