Mary Jane Watkins, 89, Peachtree City, died April 23, 2006. She was born June 10, 1916 in Caswell County, N. C. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with the Rev. Sean Smith officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include daughters, Geraldine Preston and Lawrence D. Gore, Peachtree City, and Bessie Watkins, Brooklyn, N. Y.; and a sister, Louella Young, Baltimore, Md. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
