Joseph H. Cook, 85, Peachtree City, died April 23, 2006. He was born Jan. 10, 1921 in Rockdale County. He was retired from NCR, Peachtree City. He was a member of the Peachtree City Christian Church and the Golden Kiwanis. Services were at the Peachtree City Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. George Dillard and the Rev. Tom Morgart officiating. Private graveside services were held. Survivors include his wife, Vee Cook, Peachtree City; children, Michael Cook, Smyrna, Donna Cook, Atlanta, and Dan and Gerry Cook, Murfreesboro, Tenn; grandchildren, J. D. Cook, Omaha, Neb., and Kevin Cook, Shreveport, La.; three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Florence Carter, Peachtree City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peachtree City Christian Church Building Fund, 500 Kedron Dr., Peachtree City, GA 30269. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
