Brooks United Methodist Church will celebrate Heritage Sunday May 7 at both the 8:45 and 11 a.m. worship services.

Light of Messiah Ministries will present “Jesus in the Passover,” a service that brings to life the Passover celebration.

Representatives will set up a Passover table with all the traditional elements involved in the Passover meal. During the service they explain how the Jewish people celebrate the Passover today, what all of the symbolic foods represent, and how Jesus is pictured in the Passover celebration and story.

It is a service intended to educate and enlighten believers as well as to challenge non-believers.

All members of the community are invited to attend.
