Rogers-Argentina

Jane and Vincent Argentina were married April 1, 2006, at the Taylor-Grady House in Athens. Chintana Ahlund of Altamonte Springs, Fla. conducted the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Drs. Sara and Jack Rogers of Rome and granddaughter of retired Brig. Gen. Jack Rogers of El Paso, Texas. She earned a B.S. in biology/environmental studies in 2000 from Tufts University and will receive a M.S. in ecology later this year from the University of Georgia.

The groom is the son of Gale and Dave Argentina of Fayetteville. A 1993 graduate of Fayette County High School, he earned a B.A. in drama at the University of Georgia in 1998 and a M.F.A. in dramatic media in 2001. He is employed at the University of Georgia.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a strapless A-line organza over white satin gown with crystal beading. She carried a bouquet of lilac chrysanthemums and white roses.

Jake McCoy of Fayetteville, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Taylor-Grady House.

The couple resides in Athens.
