The citizens of Tyrone will have an opportunity to ask questions and get to know the seven candidates vying for the two open Tyrone Town Council positions. The Tyrone Neighborhood Alliance is sponsoring a “Meet the Candidate” forum Nov. 6.

All seven candidates have been invited to attend. Grace Caldwell, Kevin Edwards, David Nebergall, Lisa Richardson and Michael Server are running for Council Post 3 and Cary Dial and Gloria Furr are contending for Council Post 4.

Tyrone citizens are invited to ask questions of any, or all, of the seven candidates. It is encouraged that questions be submitted in advance to allow the panel to eliminate duplicates and to assure a good cross-section of questions. E-mail your questions to mtc@tyronena.org.

The forum will be held at the Carrowmore subdivision’s clubhouse Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. The entrances to the Carrowmore subdivision are located on Castlewood Road. The clubhouse is the first building on the left.
