Despite the intermittent rain, families came out to view the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Dixie Wing “World War II Day: Boots, Wheels & Wings” at the Historical Airpower Facility at Falcon Field in Peachtree City on Saturday. WWII re-enactors, vehicles, exhibits, demonstrations, vintage aircraft and airplane rides were featured as a tribute to America’s veterans.
