Art students at Flat Rock Middle swept the 21st annual Peachtree City Kiwanis Youth Art Showcase in the middle grades division.

A total of eight awards were earned by the students in the 5th-6th grade and 7-9th grade divisions. Winners were Adam Van Dyke, Austin Hatcher, Natasha Kimball, Sara Ledford, Dona Huynh, Ross Logsdon, Lauren Sims and Chelsea Sneed.

Additionally, their art teacher, Jocelyn Rivard, received an Achievement Award and $200 for Flat Rock. The Kiwanis Club recognized her for outstanding leadership and support of her students.
