The Gym South Men’s Gymnastics Team recently had 14 athletes ages 8 to 18 compete in the 2006 Men’s Regional Gymnastic Chamionships in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Compulsory Athletes were at their best.
Colin Plat, a Level 6 gymnast, was even crowned regional champion on horizontal bar.

The Optional Athletes were also successful.
Six of the athletes qualified to Nationals (AJ Thompson, Bryan Gibbs, Jeremy Adams, Lee Wilkerson, Jared Breeden, and Bryan Newman) and one of them, Adams, will be representing the Southeast as a regional team member.

Gym South wishes luck to all six boys in their quest for gold at the 2006 National Men’s Gymnastics Championships in Battle Creek, Mich., May 2-7.
