Susan Sloan recently was welcomed as a new member of the Thomas Wingfield Chapter of the Colonial Dames Seventeenth Century (CDXVIIC). Participating in the welcoming ceremony were Phyllis Lawson, chapter president, and Janet Sherling, chapter registrar, both of Jonesboro; and Robin Towns of Gainesville, president of the Georgia State Society.
