Denton honored as Notable Woman of History

Helen Kogel Denton of Fayetteville has been named "Notable Woman of History in Fayette County" for Women’s History Month. She is sponsored by the Fayette-Starr's Mill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution of Fayette County. Mrs. Denton, former secretary of General Dwight Eisenhower, has spoken to many groups in the county. She is featured in the October 2005 issue of the Fayette Woman Magazine. Posters listing her activities may be seen in the Peachtree City and Fayetteville Libraries.
