Marla Smith, a resident of Fayetteville, has been named Star Teacher of the Year at Mundy’s Mill High School, in Clayton County. Smith teaches AP and honors chemistry. She has been a resident of Fayetteville for nine years and attends Providence United Methodist Church In Peachtree City.
