Army National Guard Pfc. Robert K. Serena has been mobilized and activated for a future deployment to an undisclosed overseas location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Serena, a military policeman with three years of military service, is normally assigned in Elberton, Ga. He is the son of Howard M. Serena of Bradenton, Fla., and Patricia M. Serena of Sarasota, Fla. His wife, Carrie-Lynne, is the daughter of Mike and Sue Hess of Peachtree City, Ga.
