Clarence W. Garner, 89, Villa Rica, died April 4, 2006. He was born Sept. 8, 1916 in Eatonton, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Louise S. Garner. He was a World War II veteran, serving with the United States Navy in the South Pacific. He was a pressman for the Atlanta Journal for 34 years. He was a member of Capital View Masonic Lodge, F&AM, and a longtime member of Capital View United Methodist Church.

Services were at the Chapel of the Abby at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include a daughter, Pat and Seth Osburn, Fayetteville; a grandson, Michael Osburn, Fayetteville; and a granddaughter, Kristi Osburn, Atlanta.
