The Fayette County Democratic Committee (FCDC) will conduct the qualification process for Democratic candidates for local offices to appear on the July 18 Democratic primary election ballot. The FCDC encourages all local Democrats to consider public service on behalf of our community.

The Fayette County Democratic Committee will be conducting qualification for the following offices:

• Board of Education Posts 4 and 5

• County Commissioner Posts 4 and 5

Qualifying for these local offices will be held during the week of April 24-28, as provided by state law. Qualifying will be held at the office of Judy M. Chidester, Attorney-at-Law, located at 111 Petrol Point, Suite 204, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269. Phone: 770-486-1314 or 770-487-5919. Alternate Phone: 770-631-2397 or 404-918-9804. Candidates are encouraged to call before arriving. Qualifying will be held Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m.-noon. Candidates are encouraged to verify with the Fayette County Board of Elections that they reside in the correct post.
