Mr. and Mrs. James Alberts of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Ann, to Kyle S. Goodwin, son of Linda S. Goodwin and John V. Goodwin of West Palm Beach, Fla.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and a 2005 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where she earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. She is employed with Daetwyler I/O Devices in Norcross.

The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Suncoast High School and a 2005 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science. He is employed with Aflac in Norcross.

A May 2006 wedding is planned. After a honeymoon in Europe, the couple will reside in Norcross.
