James Linwood Bishop, Fayetteville, died April 1, 2006. He was a member of Tyrone Masonic Lodge #644 F&AM, and the Fellowship Baptist Church, Fairburn. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Wayne Younger, the Rev. David Arrington, Jeremy Baseman, and Charles Vaughn officiating. Interment was Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Betty Bishop, Fayetteville; a son, Jeff and Cindy Bishop, Newnan; daughters, Carol and Harry Wilson, Fayetteville, and Vickie and Bobby Copenhaver, Hoschton, Ga.; grandchildren, Judd, Jeffery, Jaclyn, Abby, and Grayson; and sisters, Charlotte and Leroy Thomas, Concord, Ga., and Laverne Leverette, Hapeville. Memorial donations may be made to the Oaklawn Baptist Church Building Fund, Pine Road, Newnan, or The Special Olympics of Coweta County.
