Lori Whatley, a Realtor in Prudential Georgia Realty’s Fayetteville office, was again recognized for her fabulous first complete year in real estate. The Fayette County Board of Realtors honored her as its 2005 Rookie of the Year. This award comes closely on the heels of winning Prudential Georgia Realty’s Rising Star Award in February. The announcement came at the Board’s Annual Spring Ball held at the Airport Hilton ballroom on Saturday, March 11th. The event honors Realtors whose sales place them in the Board’s Million Dollar Club.

“Lori is a dedicated real estate professional, always putting the interests of her clients first and never letting a deal fall through,” stated Managing Broker Merry Holley. “She has such a positive attitude and has quickly mastered the basics necessary to become a top agent.”

Lori Whatley’s 2005 gross sales volume was $4.8 million, with 31 sales and 40 listings taken. These totals were good enough to place her in the Leading Edge Society award level for sales performance, one of several award designations created by Prudential Real Estate Affiliates (PREA) as a national standard for its agents. The Leading Edge award is held by only the top 14 percent of all 64,000 Prudential agents in North America.

A Georgia native and Fayette County resident, Lori is a graduate of the University of Georgia and the Mercer University medical school. She concentrates on residential real estate in the Fayette County and surrounding region. To better serve her clients, Lori has earned her Certified Skilled Negotiator designation, is a certified Fine Homes Specialist and is e-Certified, which means she is skilled in the latest computer and Internet technology.

In addition to her membership in the Fayette Board of Realtors, Lori belongs to the Georgia Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Fayette Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Spalding Booster Club, the Endowment Committee for the Cultural Arts of Fayette County, the Fayette County Historical Society and was a 2005 Leadership Fayette participant.
