• Austin Spurlin of Fayetteville, Ga. placed second in the co-angler division of the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Bulldog Division event on Lake Seminole. Spurlin caught five bass, weighing 16 pounds, 01 ounce for a total of $1,414.

• Ian Cormack of the 7/8 year old Tyrone A’s recorded an unassisted triple play in a 13 to 8 victory against the Tyrone Rattlers. With runners on first and second base, Ian caught a line-drive for out number one, preceded to tag the runner coming off first for the number two out, and sprinted to second for the third put-out.
