University of Alabama at Birmingham junior Brittlynn Hall, 21, of Peachtree City was recently crowned Miss UAB 2006, during the Miss UAB scholarship pageant at the Alys Stephens Center. She was awarded an $1,800 scholarship. Hall also won the pageant’s community achievement award, earning an additional $200 scholarship. Hall is the daughter of Lynn and Stephanie Hall formerly of Peachtree City now residing in Lexington, KY and a 2003 graduate of McIntosh High School. As Miss UAB, she will now compete in the Miss Alabama Pageant. Brittlynn Hall’s platform is "Global and Domestic Opportunities Through Education." The pageant offers young women the opportunity to further educational goals through scholarships and personal growth. Photo/Special.
