Fayette Homeschool Friends participated in the National Geographic Geo Bee recently. Six students participated, James Brady, Craig Sage, Katy Sage, Colten Ryan, Alex Weiers, and Jake Weiers. In preparation for the Bee, these students studied different areas of geography for several months. The first place winner of the Bee was Craig Sage from Peachtree City. Following the Bee, Sage took at 70 question written test that may take him to the State finals held at the end of March. One winner from each state will advance to the final competition held in Washington, D.C. in May featuring Alex Trebek and will air on national television.
