Accreditation Assessment Team invites public comment

On April 23, 2006 the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) will begin examining all aspects of the Fulton County Marshal’s Department’s policies and procedures, management, operations and support services. This process is taking place so that the Fulton County Marshal’s Department will receive its reaccreditation.

As part of the on-site assessment, law enforcement agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments about the department’s reaccreditation at a public information session being held Monday, April 24th at 7 p.m. in the Justice Center Building, Courtroom 1A, located at 185 Central Ave. in Atlanta.

Individuals who cannot attend the public information session may express their comments by calling 404-730-4456 on Monday, April 24th from the hours of 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. They are also welcome to mail their comments to the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc, Suite 320, 10306 Eaton Place, Fairfax, Virginia 22030-2201.
