Fulton County Police seek public commentMon, 04/10/2006 - 9:32am

On April 24, 2006, the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) will begin examining all aspects of the Fulton County Police Department’s policies and procedures, management, operations and support services. This process is taking place so that the Fulton County Police Department will receive its reaccreditation. As part of the on-site assessment, law enforcement agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments about the department’s reaccreditation at a public information session being held Monday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in the Fulton County Government Center Assembly Hall, located at 141 Pryor Street in Atlanta. Individuals who cannot attend the public information session may express their comments by calling 404-730-5754 on Monday, April 24 from the hours of 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. They are also welcome to mail their comments to the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc, Suite 320, 10306 Eaton Place, Fairfax, Virginia 22030-2201.
