Old and new officers of the J.C. Booth Middle School National Junior Beta Club recently celebrated the induction of over 120 new members. Students who attain an A average in all subject areas for one semester are eligible for membership, and they must maintain that average to stay in Beta Club.

Members participate in a wide variety of school and community service projects throughout the year, including food and clothing drives, peer tutoring and teacher support. Under the guidance of advisor Jennifer Ritter, the Booth Beta Club recently earned the Daily Point of Light award.
