Peachtree City’s local swim club, Southern Crescent Aquatic Team, had an impressive showing at the 2006 NCSA Junior National Championships in Orlando, Florida March 21-25.

Swimmers that attended the national caliber meet were Lauren Cartwright, Katelyn Davis, Keaton Hannon, Katie Haycraft, David Menchinger, and Lauren Scott.

Individually, Lauren Cartwright and Nicole Roddenbery placed in the top 8 and scored the most points for the team. Lauren Cartwright placed 2nd in the 200 Butterfly, 8th in the 200 Individual Medley, 9th in the 100 Butterfly, 13th in the 200 Breaststroke, 13th in the 400 Individual Medley, and 15th in the 200 Freestyle. Nicole Roddenbery placed an impressive 5th place in the 50 Butterfly, and 17th in the 100 Butterfly.
