Hamilton a winner in state competition

Chris Hamilton of Peachtree City, Ga., a freshman majoring in political science at Georgia College & State University, and his teammate, Ryan Greene, of Rutledge, Ga., won second place in the fourth annual Case Study Competition for their presentation, “The Mauritanian Plan.” The Case Study Competition was part of the 10th Annual Georgia Collegiate Leadership Conference hosted by the University of Georgia in Athens on Feb. 11.

Hamilton is the son of Kim and Jim Hamilton of Peachtree City, Ga. He graduated from McIntosh High School where he was a member of the wrestling team and involved in Peer Leadership.

At Georgia College, he is a senator in the Student Government Association, president of the Wells Residents Hall Council, and is in the Leadership Certificate Program.
