Seven local churches will join together for a joint Good Friday service at noon at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City Friday, April 14.
The annual event is a more than 30-year tradition for the area. Pastors from the churches will speak on “The Seven Last Words of Christ” and the service will include congregational service throughout.
Persons interested in attending are encouraged to come and go as their schedule permits.
Participating churches are Fayette Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City United Methodist Church, Peachtree City United Methodist Church, Christ the King Episcopal Church, St. Christopher Hellinic Orthodox Church, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church and Peachtree City Christian Church.
The event is organized each year by Dr. George S. Dillard III, senior minister of Peachtree City Christian Church.
