Spring is here, summer is just around the corner, and everything is coming up roses. Roses and grass and weeds, that is. Once the warm Georgia sun hits the earth, it seems like lawn care is a never-ending job. Many homeowners find themselves discouraged after putting countless time and money into their lawn, only to find it running wild a few weeks later.

Enter Full Service Landscaping & Lawn Care, a locally owned landscaping business offering a unique solution to the ever-growing lawn care needs.

"We service what we sell,” explained owner Greg Fugate. “We will maintain your landscape after we install it if you need us to, but we do not discriminate, we will also maintain your
property even if we did not install it."

As the name implies, Full Service Landscaping really is a full service company, offering design, installation and maintenance services when it comes to landscaping and lawn care for both residential and commercial properties in Fayette County and surrounding areas. Fugate believes offering such a full range of services provides his customers an added convenience.

"We can do just about anything you can imagine. We work very closely with a variety of local contractors to offer an abundance of options to our customers. This is great for them because they only need to make one call. We will manage the entire project."

Because they are dealing with the same company for the design work, installation and maintenance of their landscape, our customers only have to make one phone call to get it all taken care of.

Customers Bob and Jean Scott of Fayetteville know firsthand the convenience and quality of Fugate's work.

"We were so pleased that Full Service showed up when they said they would, did what we agreed on doing, at the amount we agreed on, in the amount of time they said it would take and left our yard the way they would have left their own yard. We could not be happier with the landscaping that was done at our home by them," the Scotts said.

Landscaping has always been an interest for Greg Fugate, who has been involved this type of work part-time since his teenage years.

“Two years ago I decided to make a career out of it. Being tied to a desk all day was just not for me. I enjoy being outdoors doing something I love and the work is very gradifying. There is such a great sense of accomplishment after completing a landscape project and seeing the finished product." He is also quick to point out that he has a lot of support.

"I could not do this alone. I have a great supporting cast. I believe I owe a tremendous amount of my success to those I work with,” Fugate said. “I could not do this without them and our customers are very quick to praise their work."

Fugate stresses that he has lived in Fayette County all his life, and knows the area well. His abundant knowledge of what grows well and what works with the local climate has helped make Full Service Landscaping so successful. He also enjoys the opportunity to work closely with the people in the area that he grew up with, helping to improve the aesthetic appeal of the community.

Some of those people include Henry and Beth Crowder of Fayetteville, who hired Full Service Landscaping for lawn maintenance over one year ago and have been so happy with it they have started adding landscaping work.

"I would recommend Full Service to friends, neighbors and family, Henry Crowder said. “We interviewed a few other companies, and Full Service was the most professional and most knowledgeable. Greg Fugate and his staff provided us good advice to us non-gardeners."

Fugate says he enjoys helping home-owners create the landscape that best fits their lifestyle. "No matter how large or small the job is, there is nothing more satisfying than helping people achieve the most from their landscape," Fugate said.

Full Service Landscaping is fully insured and their work comes with a guarantee. "If we install the landscape and maintain it, we warranty the material and labor for as long as we maintain the property, so if that three hundred dollar tree dies in two years, we will replace it at no charge to the customer," Fugate explained.
