Atlanta-based, NV Hair Studio and Wigs for Kids have teamed up to organize a Cut-A-Thon today from 1 to 5 p.m. at NV Hair Studio, 1301 Commerce Drive, Peachtree City. The Cut-A-Thon is meant to help promote Wigs for Kids, a non-profit organization that assists children that have experienced hair loss due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, alopecia and burns. Wigs for Kids provides a hair replacement system for children and assists them with their cosmetic and psychological needs. Hair cuts for donors with approximately 12 inches of hair are free. All proceeds will benefit Wigs for Kids. Hair donors will receive a Wigs For Kids T-shirt and gift certificate from Chick-fil-A.
