Westmoreland in town Saturday

Congressman Lynn Westmoreland will be the special guest speaker at the Fayette County Republican Party breakfast April 1. Rep Westmoreland will give a report on legislation in Washington, DC. Rep. Westmoreland has many interesting experiences to share with local citizens. This is a good time to meet your Congressman in an informal setting..

In addition, Gary Black who is a candidate for Agriculture Commissioner will be on the program. Agriculture is part of Georgia’s heritage, and it remains a leading source of jobs and income. Georgia has one of the nation’s most vital and diversified farm economies, leading the country in the production of poultry, pecans, peanuts, eggs and forestry products. Georgia consistently ranks as a top producer of watermelons, rye, peaches, sweet potatoes and cotton and is home to the world famous Vidalia onion.

The breakfast will be held at the International House of Pancakes in Fayetteville beginning at 9 a.m. The breakfast is dutch treat. Guests and interested parties are always welcome. Please join us.
