Roland Rossignol, 80, Fayetteville, died March 12, 2006. He was born May 22, 1925 in Van Buren, Aroostock County, Maine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Emily Beaulieu Rossignol, and two brothers. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

A remembrance service was held at Fayette Bible Church.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Clavette Rossignol; sons, Raymond and Alice Rossignol, Scottbluff, Neb., and David Rossignol, Gainesville, Ga., a daughter, Arlene and Tom Bernard, Fayetteville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, and nine sisters.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
