Two local girls made the All State basketball team for their respective classifications; Landmark Christian chool’s Christian Hunnicutt (Class A) and Sandy Creek’s Morganne Campbell (Class AAAA).
Hunnicutt, a junior, averaged 21.2 points per game, 2.3 assists per game, 8.8 rebounds per game and 3.2 steals per game.

Campbell, a senior, averaged 19 points per game, six rebounds per game and two assists per game.
Both girls were their team’s leading scorers and were true leaders on the court. Landmark Christian won the region 5-A tournament and Sandy Creek finished as region runners-up. Both teams also won first round state playoff games this season.
