The Fayette County School System announced the Georgia Lottery funded Pre-K program at Tyrone Elementary will be moved to Crabapple Lane Elementary for the 2006-2007 school year. Residents living in the Crabapple Lane and Tyrone Elementary attendance areas can register their child’s name in a lottery for available slots March 30 from 9-11 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. at Crabapple. Names will be drawn approximately two weeks following the registration day. School personnel will promptly contact the parents of those students whose names are drawn. Parents must go in person to Crabapple to enter their child’s name for the lottery. Classes are limited to 20 students. If selected for the program, Tyrone area parents will be responsible for providing transportation to and from Crabapple. Students in the Crabapple attendance zone will be provided bus transportation. Students must be four years old on or before September 1 to attend pre-K. login to post comments |
