Donated finance books

Students at Rising Starr Middle got some expert advice on investing money from financial advisor Angie Peterson of Raymond James and Associates.

Peterson spoke to Babs Robinia’s Personal Finance class about how to grow their money for the future as well as donated “Investing for Life” workbooks to the students for use in the classroom. The books are part of the “Better Investing Educational Series” provided by NAIC (National Association of Investors Corporation).

Personal Finance is a connections class that has been offered at the school for four years to seventh and eighth grade students.
