Frances Mann Grindle, 71, Woolsey, died March 17, 2006. She was born Dec. 9, 1934 in Fayette County, daughter of Oliver Steve and Dollie Catherine Chapman Mann. She was preceded in death by brothers, James Mann, Butch Mann, Tom Mann, and Steve Mann Jr.

She was an avid gardener and often sold the vegetables she grew.

Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Donnie Grindle, Woolsey; sons, Mike and Susan Grindle, Jacksonville, Fla., and Mark and Cheryl Grindle, Senoia; daughters, Brenda and Merrill Goss, Covington, and Donna Ridgeway, Elberton, Ga.; grandchildren, Jennifer, Chris, Anthony, Kelly, and Ryan brothers, Buddy and Diane Mann, and Clinton and Jean Mann; a sister, Lizzie and Billy Pike; and a sister-in-law, Estelle Mann.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
