John and Barbara Lilley of Richmond, Va., and Joe and Robbie Cartwright of Fayetteville announce the marriage of their children, Sharon Louise Lilley to Jeffrey Owen Cartwright.

The ceremony was held New Year’s Eve, 2005, at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Richmond Hill. Father Clark C. Hubbard officiated.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose Natalie Doggett as her matron of honor. The flower girl was Miss Allie Luna, niece of the groom. Jo Cartwright served as his son’s Best Man. The ring bearer was Luke Doggett.

Pianist Dante Luna, the groom’s nephew, provided the prelude music.

The wedding reception, catered by The Lady and Sons of Savannah, was held at The Vintage Pearl on Tybee Island. Greg Lilley, musician and brother of the bride, wrote and performed a special song for the bride and groom.

The bride and groom are graduates of Fayette County High School. Mrs. Cartwright attended UNC Charlotte, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is employed by muzak in Fort Mill, S.C. Mr. Cartwright attended Clayton State College where he earned a degree in aviation maintenance technology. He is employed with Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah.

The couple honeymooned in Stowe, Vt. and returned to Richmond Hill where they will reside.
