In honor of Governor Purdue’s recent signing of a proclamation to declare Feb. 7 through 14 Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Awareness Week, the patients and families of the Kids at Heart support group at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Sibley Heart Center celebrated in style. Children's Sibley Heart Center patient, Casey Gordan, of Fayetteville, along with other patients and families, enjoyed a lavish breakfast and informative presentation about CHD at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center, followed by an enjoyable morning with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus at Philips Arena on Feb. 11.
